The seminar called “Restaurant Licensing – all you need to know from the experts” was hosted by Leman Solicitors at their offices on Percy Place, Dublin 4 on Tuesday 16th August.  The seminar covered the most important licensing issues for restaurant owners including:

• Upgrading Licences
• Acquiring an existing Licence – transfer of a licence;
• Buying an existing business – what to look for;
• Fire Certificates/negotiating with a Fire Officer;
• Planning
• Publican’s Licences;
• Costs

The seminar was very well attended and some lively discussions took place regarding the issues that are facing Restaurateurs in relation to the serving of intoxicating liquor.
